Vaping

An Australian was removed from a Jetstar flight to Bali for using a vape pen in the lavatory and setting off the smoke alarms.

Police removed a juvenile passenger who was found vaping in the plane’s lavatory from a Jetstar trip to Bali.

The individual had triggered the smoke alarm on the aeroplane shortly before the scheduled October 4 departure from Sydney to the Indonesian vacation destination.

Jetstar attested to the passenger’s removal from the aircraft.
An airline representative stated, It’s simple—customers cannot vape on an aircraft.

The use of e-cigarettes of any kind on aeroplanes is forbidden.

Before takeoff, the vapour activated the smoke detectors on the plane, and our crew had to contact the AFP to help remove the passenger. Our crew will never put up with this kind of attitude since safety is our first priority.
